इस बार बिहार की पांच राज्यसभा सीटों के चुनाव में दिलचस्प मुकाबला दिख रहा है. सत्तारूढ़ एनडीए गठबंधन इन सभी 5 सीटों पर जीत का दावा कर रहा है. एनडीए की ओर से प्रमुख उम्मीदवारों में जदयू प्रमुख नीतीश कुमार, बीजेपी नेता नितिन नवीन और आरएलएम के उपेंद्र कुशवाहा शामिल हैं. इसके अलावा केंद्रीय मंत्री रामनाथ ठाकुर (जेडीयू) और भाजपा के प्रदेश महासचिव शिवेश कुमार भी मैदान में हैं. वहीं राष्ट्रीय जनता दल (आरजेडी) अपने उम्मीदवार अमरेंद्र धारी सिंह के लिए समर्थन जुटाने में जुटा है.
